Romford v Burnham Ramblers at Ship Lane
Ryman League North
Mitchell Young looks ahead…..
The ‘Boro’ plays hosts to the ‘Ramblers’ with only three points separating the two sides, as they look to change there fortune after there last outing defeat to Dereham Town. Both teams look evenly matched as both sides have just two league wins in the last six.
As the hosts sit in 17th place in the league, three points are vital to push the ‘Boro’s’ away from the relegation zone and by doing so can go in front of the ‘Ramblers’ on goal difference. The ‘Boro’s’ top goal scorer so far this season has been Tom Richardson with 9 goals and will look to pose a threat and add to his tally in front of his home crowd. But the ‘Boro’s’ in-form striker Abs Seymour has 2 league goals in the last 3 games and will looking to add those at the weekend.
However with the away side bringing goal threats from Neil Richmond who has 6 goals this season and their leading goal scorer Billy Hunt with 7, they cannot be taken lightly. After the postponed game on Tuesday night against Dagenham and Redbridge the away side go into Saturday’s game with a home win against Wroxham. But the ‘Ramblers’ have only won 1 game in there last 3 away games. Romford look to have the edge despite being 3 places behind them going into Saturday.
