Romford v AFC Sudbury at Ship Lane
Ryman League North

Mitchell Young looks ahead……

‘The Boro’s’ with only two wins in their last six league games are looking for a change in fortune on Saturday as they play hosts to AFC Sudbury. After back to back league defeats for ‘The Boro’s’ including their latest at Wroxham last Saturday they look to turn their good performances of late into wins. The visitors however have just one defeat in their last 11 league games sitting in a respectable 9th position and will be a difficult team to break down. With the attacking threat coming from James Baker who has 2 goals in his last 5 league games and the in-form player for Sudbury Ryan Henshaw who has 3 goals in his last 5 appearances. Although the home side have plenty for Sudbury to think about with ‘The Boro’s’ top goal scorer Tom Richardson with 8 goals already this season partnered by Abs Seymour who also has had his fair share of goals with four. The hosts look to bag a valuable three points to put some distance between them and the sides below them to move away from the relegation zone as ‘The Boro’s’ sit two places above the drop.
