Lewes v AFC Hornchurch at The Dripping Pan
Ryman League Premier Division

Jimmy Mcfarlane will hope his side can continue to “win ugly” after their 3-2 win against Margate last Saturday. The ‘Urchins’ go into the game sustaining their position on the top of the Ryman Premier and intend on staying there with a visit to Lewes. Hornchurch are unbeaten in six league games and have in form striker Stefan Payne to partly thank with three goals in three games, with help from strike partner George Purcell and winger Michael Spencer scoring twice in their last outing edging Margate at home. Hornchurch will hope to make lighter work this weekend after their last couple of games with tight encounters. Although Lewes won’t be a roll over with another tough test ahead for the leaders as they push for promotion currently sitting in 7th place. But can the ‘Urchins’ maintain their good form and stay top of the league?
