AFC Sudbury v Brentwood Town at MEL Group Stadium
Ryman League North

Mitchell Young looks ahead…

Brentwood Town will look to maintain their seven point gap from the relegation zone as they travel to an in form AFC Sudbury side on Saturday.

‘The Blues’ go into the game with two wins in their last five games after a disappointing 3-1 defeat at home to Chatham Town which saw them leap frog Brentwood on Tuesday night.

The hosts AFC Sudbury are unbeaten in their last 11 games in all competitions with five wins and six draws. We have to go back to middle of November to find the last time AFC Sudbury lost in a Cup Replay.

Despite the home sides run they only sit in 10th due to their last three games ending in draws with Brentwood sitting in 18th wary of the teams behind them.

Last time the two sides met ‘The Blues’ lost 2-1 at home and will seek revenge I am sure. With Brentwood scoring in all of their last six games there are sure to be goals but AFC Sudbury will be hard to break down.

Can Brentwood nick a valuable point away from home? Or will AFC Sudbury continue their unbeaten run and take all three points?
